humorous prose from a book or short story?

VICTOR Asked: humorous prose from a book or short story?

For my Public Speaking class I need to do a reading lasting about 4 minutes. I would like to do something humorous, possibly sarcastic/satirical as well.
the rules are that it cannot be poetry, and it cannot be something I wrote myself.
I would like it to be intellectual and slightly obscure, as I don't want anyone to have the same author as me. I have some ideas but I am not sure any of them will work. Help?

Honestly you should be able to choose any three objects so long as you can make up reasons (see: "BS") and tell the story.

An item from a hobby you used to do… or a sport you play… or something as to what you aspire to be when you grow up?

Bring in a test tube and explain how you aspire to be a scientist when you grow up so you can help develop new things for the betterment of mankind.

Whatever you feel you can generate things to talk about for at least a few minutes without having issues.

I JUST did this. It's easier than you think.

Past object: Where were you born? Picture of you as a baby. Favorite toy as a child. Picture of your bike when you were little.

Present: Hobbies (swimming, reading, favorite sport, etc.) Favorite piece of jewelery, favorite book. Besides favorite maybe something you hate, like Justin Bieber?

Future: Your dream job. Your dream place to live. Where you wanna live (a beach house?)
